On January 19, 2015, our Club had a Martin Luther King Jr. Service Day. 55 Teens attended and helped put together “Blanket Hugs” for our local children’s home, they wrote “Get Well Soon” letters to children in hospitals, and they made blankets for the homeless. They event began at 10:30am and they worked together for 5 hours on the different projects; it was a great success!
cooled, quiet, and everyone was into their books and sharing interesting parts of their books. We ended the program with some nice, smooth, sweet, chilled, rootbeer floats. It was a relaxing start to our Bright Spot Float Friday. Our next Bright Spot Float Friday is planned for the 15th of October.
