Dear Friends,  

It is my pleasure to once again serve as the Board President for the Boys & Girls Club of Stanton in 2010.  After having the honor of serving as Board President for the first time in 2009, I am excited about the challenges and opportunities that the new year brings.

 I am sure you are aware of the passion that our outstanding staff brings to the Club on a daily basis.  Having served as a volunteer at the Club for the past several years, I have observed the way that the children of our community interact with the staff on a regular basis.  Every employee at the Club – from our Executive Director to the folks in the learning center, teen center, gym and everywhere in between – truly care about the job they are doing.  Most importantly, they also truly care for the children, who are our future.

In these tough economic times, many non-profit organizations are facing budgetary challenges, and the Boys & Girls Club of Stanton is no different.  We would be unable to bring you the high-quality programs and services that we offer without support from the community.  Please make sure to keep an eye out for information on our various fundraisers throughout 2010 and find out how you can help the Boys & Girls Club of Stanton continue to be “the positive place for kids.”
